About me
I love a few things: motorcycles, basketball, my guitar, great books..... and Fishing! I'm alive on the water, fishing rod in hand, my prize unseen beneath me, prowling the deep. I love counseling for the same reason. Searching the depths of the self in order to find, catch, and admire what lies beneath the surface of awareness. I will help you grow in that self-awareness, self-acceptance, and self-love. Together, we will stand on the bank of your own story, eagerness in hand, anticipating what lies just beneath your pain, hope, and dreams.
My formative years were spent mostly in Nashville, TN. I graduated with a psychology degree from Taylor University in 1997. I then received a Master’s in Counseling from Colorado Christian University in Denver in 1999.
I pursued a career in counseling after years of experience in ministry and athletic coaching. My own experiences with trauma and loss and working through those issues as a client in my own therapeutic process, have shaped the way I engage men, women, and children through their journeys of healing.
I have worked throughout the greater Nashville area, and now practice in Franklin and Dickson as a Licensed Professional Counselor-Mental Health Service Provider.
